Age Limit-

Educational Qualification-
For X Group-(Except Education Instructor Trade)

- Candidates must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination with Math, Physics and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English subject.or Passed 3 years Diploma course in Engineering in any stream as mentioned in the drop down menu under the candidates application form on the CAB web Portal that is www.airmenselection.cdac.in. The candidate should have completed from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in diploma or intermediate/matriculation, if English is not subject in Diploma Course.
For Y Group- Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF,(P),IAF(S) and Musician Trade.
- Candidates must have Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in any stream/subject approved by Central/ State Education Boards with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
For Y Group- Medical Assistant Trade only.
- Candidates must have Passed 10+2/ Intermediate/equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
Pay and Allowances-
- During training a stipend of Rs 14600/- per month will be paid . On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Military Servant Pay, Group X Pay (applicable for Group X Trade only) and Dearness allowance will be as Follows-
(1) For X Group- (Except Education Instructor Trade)- Rs 33100/- per month DA which in subsequent years, may rise as per the carrier progression of the individual.
(2) For Y Group- Except Automobile Technician, GTI,IAF,(P),IAF(S) and Musician Trade- Rs 26900/- per month plus DA which in subsequent years, may rise as per the carrier progression of the individual.
Online Test details-
- For X Group - Duration of the online test will be 60 minutes and will comprise of English, physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus.
- For Y Group - Except Automobile Technician, GTI,IAF,(P),IAF(S) and Musician Trade-Duration of the online test will be 45 minutes and will comprise of English, as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus Reasoning and General Awareness.
- For both X and Y Group - Duration of the online test will be 85 minutes and will comprise of English, physics and Mathematics as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus and Reasoning and General Awareness.
NOTE - Candidates who passed online test and are shortlisted as per the merit list which will be displayed on the CASB portal that is www.airmenselection.cdac.in on a stipulated date will be called for Physical Fitness Test.
Physical Eligibility-
- Height-157cm
- 1.6 km run to be completed in 6 min 30 seconds
- 20 Squat Ups (Uthak Baithak)
- 10 Push Ups
- 10 Sit Ups
General Instruction for candidates-
- candidates must indicate five choice examination center and three choice of ASCs in order of preference while filling up the online form.
- Request for change of examination center of date of selection test will not be entertained.
- Duplicate / Incomplete filled application will be rejected.
- Candidates not reporting for the test on due date and time will not be accommodation on other dates or shifts.
- Candidates should be prepared to stay for the entire duration of the test under their own arrangement.
- Candidates should apply only once in response to this advertisement.
- Candidature of candidates who applies more than once in response to this advertisement and obtains different registration number for Group X and Y will be rejected.
- Candidates clears all the stages of selection procedure the the upper age limit as on date of enrollment is 21 years.
